MY CAMERA, MY THERAPY | June 2021
My Camera, My Therapy. A photographic zine, edited by Natalie Ball (you can buy it here), promoting the importance of Photography and the Arts in relation to Mental Health and a way of using Photography as a self-therapy through the coming together of a community of people and openly talking more about our Mental Health and being creative at the same time. Photography and the Arts as a therapy is important as it helps in self-confidence, strengthens communication skills and it gives people the chance to tell their own story, in their own words. It gives people the creative freedom to create work they are happy with while also giving individuals the confidence to talk more about how photography helps their mental health on a daily basis.
